This workshop will orient participants to AI tools that can be used for information seeking and summarizing literature, such as: • Recognizing strengths and challenges of using AI in literature searching
• Learning best practices for avoiding incorrect or misleading information
• Understanding how to evaluate AI tools for information seeking There will also be some hands-on exploration! This workshop is open to all CAsToR-affiliated individuals. Join IHPI Director John Ayanian, MD, MPP, for a conversation with National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities Director, Eliseo Pérez-Stable, MD. Dr. Pérez-Stable is Director of the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities (NIMHD) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). He oversees NIMHD’s annual budget to advance the science of minority health and health disparities research. NIMHD conducts and supports research programs to advance knowledge and understanding of health disparities, identify mechanisms to improve minority health and reduce health disparities, and develop effective interventions to reduce health disparities in community and clinical settings.
