Our TCORS 2.0 - CAsToR DAD Core created this bulletin to keep you updated on the latest data and resources available through the DAD.
What's new?
PATH: Latest Data Files Processed

The DAD core is happy to announce the availability of new and updated restricted-use datasets in ICPSR’s Virtual Data Enclave (VDE).

These datasets include DAD-derived variables using Wave 5.5 Special Collection Restricted-Use File (SCRUF) and PATH Study Adult Telephone Survey (PATH-ATS) SCRUF.

What's different?
In addition to the usual tobacco-related variables, these PATH  surveys include a set of questions that explore the effect of COVID-19 on the use of different tobacco products and perceptions of the severity of COVID-19 in cigarette smokers and ENDS users.
Two new questions regarding awareness of and ever use of IQOS were also added to these surveys.

Unlike previous waves collecting data using Audio Computer-Assisted Self-Interviewing (ACASI), in-person data collection procedures were modified for Wave 5.5 and PATH-ATS so that interviews could be completed via Computer-Assisted Telephone Interviewing (CATI).
