NOTE: Revision from Wave 7 Public File Dataset

The "UM_W7_A_100cigs" variable in the UM_PATH_AdultMaster_01152025 public dataset was updated for 17 people to reflect a correction in the code. This update affected other variables that consider the established cigarette smoking status, such as “smkstat_Reg” and “Multiuse_Reg.” If you conducted analyses using any of these variables, please consider rerunning your code.

CRST-CAsToR Data Briefs

These data briefs showcase a wonderful collaboration between the Center for Rapid Surveillance of Tobacco Products (CRST) and CAsToR. Together, we aim to provide quick and relatable overviews of tobacco and nicotine product use from major surveys. For now, you can check out the two available briefs on the TCORS-CAsToR and TCORS-CRST websites, but more are on the way!

Additionally, the PAD core compiled a brief on Flavors in e-cigarettes that summarizes the findings from “The impacts of e-cigarette flavours: An overview of systematic reviews” by Livingstone-Banks et al (2025) and “An update of a systematic review and meta-analyses exploring flavours in intervention studies of e-cigarettes for smoking cessation” by Lindson et al (2024). Be sure to check it out on the TCORS-CAsToR website.
