For the public
DAM Core internal data and analysis resources are available to CAsToR affiliated personnel only at this time. If you are interested in using the original data of any of these surveys, please visit their website for more information:
Sample code
Sample code to jump-start your analysis for MTF, NHIS, NSDUH, NYTS, PATH, TUSCPS, and YRBS, accounting for their complex survey designs, is available below. The sample data included with the code are for instructional purposes only; for research purposes, please access the data sets via the links above.
For CAsToR Personnel
The DAM Core provides CAsToR personnel with access to internal versions of the above data sets along with additional derived variables. CAsToR personnel can also request descriptive statistics or other basic analysis of these data.
Datasets and Derived Variables
The DAM Core maintains internal versions of certain datasets alongside derived variables that CAsToR personnel may request access to. These data are intended for research collaboration within CAsToR and to ensure consistency across CAsToR analyses. Per the terms of use of the data providers, these data may not be further disseminated or redistributed.
The DAM Core also maintains derived variables developed for previous CAsToR analyses, such as approximations of pack-years, product use variables that incorporate the answers to multiple questions, etc. The DAM Core team maybe be able to derive new variables for you as part of a data request.
Below, please find the summary of existing internal data and expected schedule of future data releases.
