This hands-on workshop will help you further develop and polish your abstract draft in advance of the August 15th submission deadline. Bring a copy of your draft to the workshop! Guidance and recommendations regarding format and content will be provided, along with an easy-to-use template. The event will be held on Zoom. Profile: CAsToR Postdoctoral Research Fellow Clinton Durney, PhD: DATE: Fri May 30, 2025; Description: CAsToR Postdoctoral Research Fellow Clinton Durney, PhD, is a Research Methodologist working at the British Columbia Cancer Research Institute. He uses computational modeling to better understand tobacco use behaviors and evaluate the impact of policies. As a CAsToR pilot project grantee, he is studying how tobacco use spreads through adolescent social networks.

Profile: CAsToR Junior Investigator Ke “Vicky” Xu, M.Sc.: DATE: Wed Feb 19, 2025; Description: CAsToR Junior Investigator Ke “Vicky” Xu, M.Sc., is a Data Analyst who studied Statistics and works with CAsToR MPI Rafael Meza at British Columbia Cancer Research Institute. She is interested in descriptive data analysis of tobacco product use across different socio-demographic groups, as well as multi-state transitional modeling that helps understand tobacco product transitions.
