Systematic reviews and other types of evidence synthesis in tobacco regulatory science: a primer: DATE + TIME: Thu Mar 20, 2025 • 10:30 AM — 12:00 PM; By the end of this session, participants will be able to: • Explain the purpose and value of evidence synthesis
• Identify different types of evidence synthesis and their relevance to different questions in tobacco regulatory science
• Identify a trustworthy systematic review or evidence synthesis product based on core review elements
• Plan next steps if they choose to undertake their own evidence synthesis This event will be held on Zoom on Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 10:30am - 12:00pm ET. Profile: CAsToR Junior Investigator Ke “Vicky” Xu, M.Sc.: DATE: Wed Feb 19, 2025; Description: CAsToR Junior Investigator Ke “Vicky” Xu, M.Sc., is a Data Analyst who studied Statistics and works with CAsToR MPI Rafael Meza at British Columbia Cancer Research Institute. She is interested in descriptive data analysis of tobacco product use across different socio-demographic groups, as well as multi-state transitional modeling that helps understand tobacco product transitions.
